Description
BRAC Aircraft Maintenance Complex at Nellis AFB, NV The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220: Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, The Small Business Size Standard is $31.5 M average annual gross revenu e for the last three (3) fiscal years. The FSC Code is Y199. The estimated cost range of this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. This announcement is open to all businesses regardless of size. If a large business is selected for this contr act, it must comply with FAR 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on that part of the work it intends to subcontract. The Small Business subcontracting goals for these contracts are a minimum of 51.2% of the contractors intended s ubcontracting opportunities. The referenced subcontracting goals will be placed with Small Businesses (SB), including Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SBD) 8.8%, Woman-Owned Businesses (WOB) 7.3%, Hubzone Businesses 3.1% and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business 1.5%. This is a Competitive Requ est For Proposal (RFP), Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Procurement There will be a base bid plus options items. All proposals are due 5 June 2007, 2:00 P.M. PST. ALL OFFERORS/BIDDERS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROCUREMENT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCEL LED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, EVALUATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. This Solicitation will be available on or about 30 April 2007. WORK CONSISTS OF Construction of an 18,202 SF Fuel cell maintenance hangar reinforced concrete foun dation and floor slab, structural steel frame, standing seam metal roof, fire detection/protection, utilities, site improvements, landscaping, access road and parking. Construct hangar apron access pavements/lighting, markings, communication support and a ll other necessary support Please note that there are special instructions pertaining to hand delivered bids. These instructions can be viewed in Section 00100 of the advertised solicitation.
