Description

RESPONSE TO QUESTIONS 1. Operating environment - Where it will be deployed, sea conditions, etc? It will be deployed near or in the harbor. Sea conditions vary from large, rolling waves to 2-3 ft. high waves in the harbor. 2. Support equipment - Will you be deploying from shore or from vessels? Do you have cranes available on the shore or the vessels? We will be deploying from shore. We do have cranes and large harbor forklifts available on shore. 3. Draft - What is the depth of water where you would be working if there was a spill? Draft is from several feet to very deep. 4. Oil - what type of oils do you handle and may need to recover? Bunker C, frying grease, motor oils, diesel/JP8, and gasoline. 5. Power ? Is there a requirement for a hydraulic power unit? There is no need for a hydraulic power unit as the hydraulic power system from a heavy equipment will power it such as from a tractor or bobcat. All we need is the hydraulic fittings to fit them, i.e. intake and outlet spring pressure-loaded relief valves. All proposals/offers are due on 27 April 2007 at 1600hrs local time.
