Description

This is a modification to the combined synopsis/solicitation, W9124Q-07-R-BASE, for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Questions and answers: Q - What is the largest aggregate size of rock? A - The largest size is about 15 inches. Q - What are the directions to the site from Socorro? A - The site is between Gap and Ben sites off RR 7. (see location site map at the following link: http://ww w.wsmr.army.mil/DOCPAGE/pages/sol_stat.htm ). Q - Is the site a well prepared site to set up a crusher and is the stockpile area large enough for the 17,000 tons? A - The site is well prepared and can accommodate 17,000 tons. Q - What are the base co urse specifications? A- The sieve size equal 1 inch - 100, ? inch  85 to 100, No. 4 is 40 -70, No 10 is 30 to 55, No 200 is 4  12, 2 FF 50 percent or more. Q - What would be the start time and finish time for the award? A - Start on April 30, 2007, we need material as soon as contract is awarded. Q - What type of deposit is the pit? A - The Material seem to be layered slate with sandy/clay. This synopsis/solicitation has been extended and is due no later than 1700 hours, MDT, April 23, 2007.
