- The US Coast Guard, Aircraft Repair and Supply Center?s (ARSC) H-60 Product Line has a requirement for a Technical Writer/Editor to provide technical support and course material for the Aviation Technical Training Center (ATTC) and the Training Division of Coast Guard Headquarters (CG-13) at the USCG base in Elizabeth City, NC. The position's primary purpose is to perform technical writing and editing duties -- neither are predominate. To support this objective, one Technical Writer/Editor will be required to provide technical writing services. The Incumbent is assigned to the Avionics Electrical Technician ?C? School Branch. Branch personnel will provide administrative direction in terms of policy statements and objectives to be achieved. It is anticipated that the required period of performance will be a 12 month period commencing approximately 1 June 2007. The performance based statement of work will be provided in the solicitation. Commencing at contract award, the contractor must have personnel in place at the government facility and at the contractor?s designated location to provide technical writing and editorial support.
