- The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for (1) NSN: 2040-01-524-1987, fender, marine (RB-S Portside), part number COLR-0004, quantity 8 ea; (2) NSN: 2040-01-524-2089, fender, marine (RB-S Starboard), part number COLR-0003, qty: 6 each and (3) NSN: 2040-01-527-5272, door, metal, marine structural, part number SB-D2, qty 10 each. MFG: Safe Boat International LLC; 8800 Barney White Road; Port Orchard, WA 98367-7491. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room Bldg. 88; 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. NOTE: NO DRAWINGS OR SPECIFICATIONS ARE AVIALABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. It is anticipated that a non competitive sole source purchase order will be issued for these items to Safe Boat International LLC or an authorized distributor. It is the Government?s belief that Safe Boat International, the original equipment manufacturer, or an authorized distributor can furnish the required parts and ensure the proper fit, form and function of all its components. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the above items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same in duplicate within 3 days of this announcement. However, other potential sources desiring to furnish other than Safe Boat International LLC parts are required to submit the following information: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics) or 2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. The data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. Request for Quotation (RFQ) HSCG40-07-Q-50076 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.eps.gov) on or about April 18, 2007. Contractors shall use ORCA to electronically submit annual representations and certifications (REPS & CERTS) in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-3. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor FEDBIZSOPPS for changes or amendments to the RFQ. Quotations are due April 24, 2007 and it is anticipated that award will be made by May 1, 2007. .
