- This solicitation is for the Government's requirements for obtaining support in the areas of maintenance and testing support for electronics and computer systems. This solicitation is issued pursuant to the Service Contract Act and shift work for personnel will be required. The group requiring support under this solicitation is responsible for the Maintenance of the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) National Airspace System (NAS) Laboratories. The Laboratories are divided into areas based on group of Air Traffic Control (ATC) systems. This procurement is set-aside for small businesses. This Screening Information Request (SIR)'s North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 811219. The business size standard for this NAICS Code is $6.5 million. The FAA intends to award an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity labor hour contract for a period of 5 years (60 months). Questions regarding this SIR may be addressed to Cynthia.Hische@faa.gov. The questions must be received no later than 2:00 P.M., May 2, 2007. No telephonic inquiries will be answered. Any questions will be answered via an amendment to the solicitation which will be posted on the web.
