- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The 56th Contracting Squadron intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13. This is a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 336391 with a Small Business Size Standard of 750 employees. This requisition #F2U2117057A200 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). CLIN 0001: Provide and install new Ford factory A/C Units in ten (10) Ford E-350 Bobtail trucks. The trucks consist of 2003, 2005 and 2006 model years. The dashboards are configured for A/C, but the trucks did not come from the factory with A/C units installed. Total cost shall include all parts and labor to provide and install new fully functioning A/C units. All work will be performed at the contractor?s place of business. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16 and Class Deviation 2005-00001. The provision at FAR 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Only one award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror who meets the technical requirements.
