Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The 56th Contracting Squadron intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13. This is a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 336391 with a Small Business Size Standard of 750 employees. This requisition #F2U2117057A200 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). CLIN 0001: Provide and install new Ford factory A/C Units in ten (10) Ford E-350 Bobtail trucks. The trucks consist of 2003, 2005 and 2006 model years. The dashboards are configured for A/C, but the trucks did not come from the factory with A/C units installed. Total cost shall include all parts and labor to provide and install new fully functioning A/C units. All work will be performed at the contractor?s place of business. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16 and Class Deviation 2005-00001. The provision at FAR 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. Only one award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror who meets the technical requirements. Offerors are required to submit with their offer a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification--Commercial Items, or provide notification that their Representations and Certifications are available on the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov/.
