- Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army RDECOM Acquisition Center, Natick Contracting Division, Natick, MA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to York, Inc a division of Johnson Controls to perform annual maintenance on the a rtic and tropic climatic chambers large refrigeration systems for a period of twelve months. During the twelve month period, preventive and general maintenance will be performed on the high stage compressor, low stage compressor, and refrigerant. This ma intenance is to be performed on the artic and tropical climatic chamber system which is a one of a kind system designed specifically for the army by York International. An intimate knowledge of the plant equipment and its unique operating characteristics is required to properly complete this work. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
