- Sole Source Intent. The United States Army Contracting Agency Southern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Laser Techniques Company, LLC 1450 8 NE 20th St., Bellevue, WA 98007. This action is solicited as unrestricted. Laser Techniques Company is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of a Turnkey Laser based Mapping Inspection System for 81mm Inconnel Mortar Cannon Gun Tube. This item must be of the same form, fit, and function with existing USAYPG laser based inspection systems. The company holds propriety data rights to the hardware and software of the existing systems. This contract will be for the purchase of CLIN 0001: Unit Issue: Eac h, Quantity: 1, Description: Completed Turnkey Laser based Mapping Inspection System for 81mm Inconnel Mortar Cannon Gun Tube. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Ite ms. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide these r equirements, then you must respond by demonstrating your firms technical capability to meet these requirements by 26 April 2007, 8:00AM MST.
