- This announcement is to provide notice that a sole source, Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract award is anticipated, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1- Only One Responsible Source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The impending procurement is to procure Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Licensed Anthrax Vaccine Adsorbed. Emergent BioDefense Operations Lansing (formerly BioPort Corporation) is the sole supplier of FDA licensed anthrax vaccine. To meet the solicitation requirements, prospective offerors must have an FDA Licensed Anthrax Vaccine. The Government is purchasing a minimum of four (4) million doses over a Base period and three (3) optional ordering periods. The unit of issue is a 10 dose vial. While this is not a request for proposals, responsible parties purporting to have the necessary qualifications with the ability to provide an FDA licensed anthrax vaccine product must submit official documentation to this fact within 10 days of this notice.
