- This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT, a Market Survey for written information only. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls will be accepted requesting a bid package or solicitation. There is no bid package or solicitation in order to protect the procurement integrity of any future procurement, if any that may arise from this announcement, information regarding the technical point of contract will not be given and no appointments for presentations will be made. The general Scope of Work is the Naval Facilities Engineering Services Center (NFESC), Port Hueneme, CA is seeking sources for upgrades or replacements of the video teleconferencing and audio visual equipment at multiple command locations. Existing equipment is about ten years old and does not meet the requirements of multipoint teleconferencing and simultaneous data, voice, video communication. NFESC is interested in sources that can work with the Naval Marine Corps Internet (NMCI) requirements and has reliable and simultaneous multiple site connections without loss of signal or transmission problems. Interested sources should respond with brief documentation showing the company?s ability to fulfill the requirements described. Interested sources will briefly summarize their corporate history, and level of experience with AV and VTC. Comments must be received on or before 20 May 2007. Interested sources must submit any information relating to this announcement in writing via e-mail to Maria.Nailat@navy.mil. Responses received after this deadline may not be considered. Since this is a sources sought announcement, no evaluation letters will be issued to the participants.
