- NAVSURFWARCEN Crane Division has a requirement for Repaired/Remanufactured or new Traveling Wave Tubes for the AN/SLQ-32 Electronic Countermeasures System. The solicitation will have the following CLINs: CLIN 0001: Repaired/Remanufactured AN/SLQ-32 Output Traveling Wave Tubes (TWTs), NSN 5960-01-157-7009, Min 1 Each, Max 2500 Each CLIN 0002: Repaired/Remanufactured AN/SLQ-32 Driver TWTs, NSN 5865-01-166-3994, Min 1 Each, Max 300 Each CLIN 0003: Repaired/Remanufactured AN/SLQ-32 Sidekick Output TWTs, NSN 5960-01-377-1907, Min 1 Each, Max 150 Each CLIN 0004: New AN/SLQ-32 Output TWTs, NSN 5960-01-157-7009, Min 0 Each, Max 250 Each CLIN 0005: New AN/SLQ-32 Driver TWTs, NSN 5865-01-166-3994, Min 0 Each, Max 25 Each CLIN 0006: New AN/SLQ-32 Sidekick Output TWTs, NSN 5960-01-377-1907, Min 0 Each, Max 25 Each A five-year indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery, fixed-priced contract is anticipated to result. Requirements shall be specified by individual delivery orders. Delivery of TWTs and data is F.O.B. Destination as specified by each order. Solicitation N00164-07-R-8906 will be issued on a full and open competition basis. All offerors whose product sample can pass testing requirements of the specification for the TWTs, will be considered for award based on past performance and price. TWT carcasses must be requested within 40 days of the issuance of the solicitation. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov,and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Division Crane. Offerors are encouraged to access information also available on the NSWC Crane Division web site at http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/homepage.htm. The solicitation will be available for download on or about 8 May 2007. Closing date will be on or about 4 February 2008 to allow for product samples to be provided. If no requests for TWT carcasses are received within 40 days of the issuance of the solicitation, the Government reserves the right to close the solicitation subsequent to 45 days after the issuance of t he solicitation. This notice is a synopsis, does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject equipment. Contract D.A.
