- Description
- The Government intends to issue a sole source contract to Varitech, Inc., to provide maintenance on eight "slow fill" and two "fast fill" natural gas pumps. The pumps were originally installed by IMW Atlas and are located at Willow Grove, West Virginia. The contractor shall be certified to provide maintenance on IMW Atlas equipment. The period of performance shall be for one base year plus four option years, starting 1 May 2007. This requirement shall be procured in accordance with Simplified Acquisition procedures. The NAICS code is 325120. This office will no longer issue a hard copy of the Request For Quote (RFQ); therefore, a copy can be obtained from website http://www.neco.navy.mil. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFQ, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
