- U. S. GOVERNMENT WANTS TO LEASE SPACE IN THE AREA OF HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA AMOUNT: Approximately 8,900 rentable square feet of office space, yielding at least 7,710 BOMA usable to a maximum of 8,096 BOMA usable square feet of office and related space along with four (4) parking spaces. LOCATION: Space must be located outside of a flood plain, easily located from a major street or highway and fronting and or bounded within the following delineated areas: 1) North: University Drive NW; South: I-565; West: I-255 (Research Park Blvd. NW); East: Sparkman Drive NW. The Government will give first consideration to properties located within the zip code of 35805, as delineated above. However, if suitable competition can not be found within this area, the Government will look within the delineated area closest in proximity to the delineated area outlined above. REQUIRED: All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and required tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. This includes availability of access to public transportation where applicable. TERM: Lease term will be for ten years with the Government having cancellation privileges in whole or in part at any time on or after the fifth year with 60 days advance written notice. Occupancy is required no later than December 1, 2007. OWNERS & AGENTS: Submission by any party other than the owner or manager of the property must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make a general offering of the space.
