- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with KeyTrak, Inc., 200 Quality Circle, College Station, TX 77845, for the purchase and installation of a computer based key control system capable of storing, tracking, and inventorying over 2,000 keys in one self contained system. Keys must be identified and tracked through a tag microchip system. The system must be capable of storing and tracking multiple keys on one tag and must have multiple layers of security and access control. The system must be designed for easy expansion for additional storage. Contractor shall provide all materials, setup, installation, continuing technical support and software upgrades. Long-term tracking, verifiable audit trail, and on-demand reporting are required features. The Government anticipates the award of a firm, fixed price purchase order for the complete system. Other companies possessing the necessary resources are invited to submit information concerning their capabilities, expertise, and other pertinent data via email to Reggie.Poskocimas@ssa.gov by April 25, 2007. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION FOR OFFERS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received by the cutoff date (April 25, 2007), SSA will proceed with sole source negotiations with KeyTrack.
