Description
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration(NOAA), Air Resources Laboratory(ARL) has a requirement to continue development of previously initiated project in which the archived meteorological data fields from the North American Regional Reanalysis (NARR) recently compiled at the NOAA National Center for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) were converted and reformatted for the purpose of re-examining several past tracer experiments conducted by ARL. Current tasking is to modify the previously developed model evaluation methods into a consistent set of procedures that can be applied to any of the ARL experimental data sets. A generic evaluation procedure would consist of the input parameters required to run the dispersion model, the appropriate meteorological data, software to compare the model results with the experimental measured data, and related visualization tools. Complete documentation (step-by-step instructions) is required. Also, structure the directories and file naming conventions on the ARL web server and transfer all the data, computation, and analysis programs to their appropriate locations. Develop the appropriate HTML formatted web pages to link the internal data structure, model, and statistical results to the common web page. Test and insure all procedures are running correctly. This tasking is expected to require approximately 420 man-hours and $15000.00. This is a total small Business set aside and offers are encouraged to be submitted electronically to don.thompson@noaa .gov by COB of the response date noted in this announcement.
