- Description
- Air Force Research Laboratory, Air Vehicles Directorate (AFRL/VASA) solicits information relative to technologies available in the next decade to enable a multi-role unmanned aerial system (UAS). The Air Force Material Command (AFMC) in support of the Air Combat Command (ACC) is interested in reviewing the state-of-the-art and emerging technologies applicable to the multi-role UAS. Specific system solutions are not of interest at this time, but rather technologies and synergistic technology interactions that can achieve capabilities greater than current low cost UAS systems yet remain relatively affordable. Specific areas of interest include proven technologies and developmental technologies with an anticipated TRL of 6 by 2012. Information is also requested on additional technologies that can achieve a TRL of 6 by 2015. Interested offerors may view and/or download the full Request for Information (RFI) by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) homepage at http://www.fbo.gov. Direct questions to the Business Advisor listed in paragraph 3 of the announcement.
