Description

This is a presolicitation notice for commercial items. The Solicitation is W9124J-07-T-0040. The NAICS Code is 532111. The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, Southern Region Contracting Center West, intends to award a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) f or the rental of vehicles. Period of Performance shall be be for a five year period. All responsible sources may respond. It is anticipated that award will be made without discussions; although, the government reserves the right to hold discussions if ne cessary. Anticipated start date is 01 May 2007. BPA is as follows: The contractor shall provide a maximum of thirty (30) or a minimum of five (5) large (full size) SUV??"s and a maximum of four (4) or minimum of two, 24 foot box trucks with lift gate as identified below. If the government is alerted to deploy without prior notice, the government will contact the contractor NLT 8:30am requesting both large SUVs and box trucks as noted above. The contractor shall provide at a minimum five large (full size) SUVs prior to 11:00am. The contractor shall provide the remaining requested support vehicles NLT 2:00pm same day. If the government contacts the contractor after 5:00pm Monday through Friday or any time during Saturday or Sunday for the required vehicles, the contractor will provide all requested vehicles prior to 12:00pm the next day. The contractor shall deliver all requested vehicles to a predetermined location determined by the government as (Ft Sam Houston Quad Bldg 16).
