Description
CONTACT Dylan Chung, AMSEL-LC-CCS-N-AN. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for Airborne Digital Data Recorder VSC-MDR80/R, NSN: 5836-01-527-8751, P/N 50570701-302, Digital Data Video Recorder MDR-80C NSN: 5836-01-537-8617, P/N 50570 701-502, and Removable Memory Module NSN: 7045-01-534-4016 P/N 50570601-508. Current source for these units is TEAC Aerospace Technologies Inc, cage 3SDT5. The VSC-MDR80/R is part of the AH-64 Helicopter for record and playback of scan convertible mission data in 875-line and 525-line formats. The Offerers Airborne Digital Data Recorder System shall be compatible with the Raytheon Photo Telesis STR-403WB. The Removable Memory module shall be compatible with the Airborne Digital Data Recorder System, and sh all provide a USB2 connector for direct connection to the mission debrief computer via a commercial USB cable. Detailed technical data for manufacture or acceptance of this unit is not available from the Army. Offerors capable of furnishing these units mus t so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA C-E LCMC, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-N-AN, Building 1200E, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response must include documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the offeror is/was a vendor to the listed s ource or a statement from the listed source demonstrating that the offeror can, in fact, supply the Army with units that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the units from the current supplier. The equipment offered in response to this requirement must be flight qualified by Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED) prior to product acceptance. This action is not a request for proposal and does not commit the Army to procurement of the aforementioned equipment. The Army is planning a Firm -Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract to procure a total quantity of 1,000 units of the above items over the next five years.
