Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport has a requirement to acquire services, material and logistics necessary for the operation and maintenance of Range Craft, Operation of Waterfront Facilities and providing mobilization/de-mobilization support for Center, Divisions, and other Department of Defense (DOD) and private industry RDT&E projects. The projects may involve efforts such as test, evaluation, system/component deployment and recovery, and refurbishment in the following areas: Underwater weapons, Surface and underwater vehicles, Acoustic sensor development, Oceanographic instrumentation and systems, Electromagnetic sensor development, Ship navigation, location and tracking systems, At-sea deployment/recovery of test range sensors, arrays, instrumentation, and associated moorings and hardware and Support to Fleet sponsored testing and operations. This is a follow-on to contract N66604-01-C-2420 with Seaward Services of Dania Beach, FL. The resultant contract will be a cost plus fixed fee type contract. The period of performance shall be for five years. The total estimated level of effort is 85,500 manhours. The The Service Contract Act applies. Site Visit information will be provided in clause L25 of the solicitation. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS code is 483114, Size Standard: 500 employees. Evaluation Criteria is Best Value. Technical Evaluation Factors are: Technical Approach, Past Performance and Price. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
