Description

The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System intends to solicit and negotiate an indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity firm-fixed price contract to provide services including evaluation, manufacture, fitting and adjustment of orthotic devices by a qualified orthotist. The contract period will be for one base period plus two (2) one-year option periods. This is a 100% small business set-aside, the NAICS is 339113 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. All vendors submitting proposals shall have a service center physically located within a sixty (60) mile radius of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System and have maintained residency at this facility within the last three (3) years. Contract will be established using competitive negotiated procedures. The solicitation will be available for downloading, on or about April 23, 2007 at internet website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. A pre-bid conference is tentatively scheduled for Friday, May 4, 2007 at 10:00am at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, Highland Drive Division, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, Pa 15206, in Building #4, 3rd Floor, Conference Room #373E, all qualified responsive and responsible offerors are encouraged to attend. Contractor is responsible for downloading all documents, including amendments and all questions shall be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer via email or fax.
