Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Firm fixed pricing is requested. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16. This posting is to inform potential providers that Dover Air Force Base, Delaware has a requirement for Circuit Breaker Maintenance to North and South Substations on Dover AFB DE. See attached Statement of Work. SITE VISIT. A site visit is scheduled for 1 May 07 at 1:30 pm/Eastern Standard Time. Offerors who plan to attend should contact Mr. Chuck Peck, Contract Specialist, at 302-677-5220 no later than 30 Apr 07, 3:00 pm. All contractors interested in a site visit should enter Dover AFB through the South Gate and have a valid driver?s license, insurance card and vehicle registration. All contractors will be met at the South Gate by a Government representative. Questions should be submitted in writing (faxed to 302-677-5309) or e-mailed to chareles.peck@dover.af.mil at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled site visit. The details of contract: Only small businesses are eligible for award. The North American Industry Classification system code is 335313. The business must have less than 750 employees to be considered small business. The provision in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, is applicable to this solicitation. As of 1 January 2005, offerors are required to complete online representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov which are identical to what is required in FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items.
