Description

The purpose of this synopsis is to notify interested parties of solicitation W91B4M-07-R-0015 for Security at the Afghan National Army Central Supply Depots 1 and 2. The intent of this acquisition is to establish a single performance based contract for security services at ANA storage depots one and two. The contractor shall be responsible for providing security services at both sites each approximately 10 acres in area. The contractor will develop, implement, adequately staff and manage a security program to prevent any intrustion by unauthorized personnel, theft, destruction of or damage to property within the secured boundaries, and the facilities themselves. The military supplies stored at the depot are controlled items of significant value. This contract is designed to provide the personnel and assets to ensure that the depots are effectively secure at all times. Proposals for this acquisition will be due 30 Apr 07, 1700 hrs (5:00 pm) Kabul time. This is a commercial acquisition, therefore the synopsis is issued in accordance with FAR 5.201(a)(1), which allows for a shorter period of issuance of the solicitation. The response period for this solicitation is established in accordance with FAR 52.203(b), which allows for a shorter response time for commercial acquisitions.
