Description

Anniston Army Depot (ANAD) is seeking information from contractors who have the ability to furnish a variety of safety shoes and boots through a mobile service or other unique service approach for approximately 5,000 associates in a heavy industrial climate at ANAD. Shoes must be ANSI Z41 rated, will be lace up, and soles must be EH or SD rated for electrical resistance, non-sparking, slip, and oil resistant. Additional features such as heat resistance, chemical resistance, and insulation may be req uired for certain trades. Shoes and boots must be available in sizes and styles for both women and men. The products must be in compliance with the Berry Amendment Act and the Buy American Act. Include information on sizes and styles available for both m en and women, whether you have a General Services Administration (GSA) contract, features and requirements of your shoe mobile, ability to service associates on three shifts, and any other information you would like to include. Interested companies are re quested to provide information, brochures, literature, GSA contract information (if applicable) and published price lists and other information showing they can meet these requirements not later than noon on 7 May 2007.
