Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services within a 20 minute walk of the Community Corrections Center (also known as halfway houses) located at 1070 Market Street, Wheeling, WV. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period to begin on date of award through 12 months with four (4) one-year option periods, with service ending (if all options years are renewed) 60 months after date of award. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year: Estimated number of inmates 20: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 20 inmates = 20 assessments. Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 12 units (per inmate)x 20 = 240 Units. Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 96 units (per inmate) x 20 = 1,920. Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 3 inmates = 3. Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit) x 20 units per inmates x 3 inmates = 60 units. Medication Monitoring 2 units per inmate for 3 inmates = 6 units. Medication Monitoring 2 units per inmate for 3 inmates = 6 units The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated October 2005. The request for quotation will be available on or after August 01, 2007 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about August 30, 2007. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency.
