- This is a pre-solicitation notice for Noxious Weed Control at Grand Forks AFB, ND. The upcoming solicitation will be issued as a request for proposal (RFP) for commercial items under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The resultant contract is to provide noxious weed control, grassland management, and prescribed burns in accordance with the Statement of Work at Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota. This will be a small business set-aside with the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) of 561730 with a size standard of $6.5 million. The period of performance will be a basic period (starting around mid-May) with two option periods. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements type contract using Performance Price Tradeoff Procedures. The Government anticipates the issuance of the solicitation on or about 1 May 07. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov). No paper copies will be issued. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting customer service at 1-888-227-2423.
