- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N68335-07-R-0117 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation and its incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-16 (and amendments through 22 March 2007). This procurement is set-aside for Small Business. The associated NAICS code is 333999 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. There is one Contract Line Item (CLIN) for four (4) each GM80CR or equivalent portable vaccum cleaner that meets the requirements of the ?Brand name or equal? specification contained herein. Material is to be delivered FOB Destination to UIC N44466 Commanding Officer, TRIDENT Refit Facility, Attn: Environmental Code 108, Gregory Walsh (912-674-3840) 990 USS Thomas Jefferson Drive, Kings Bay GA 31547. Requested delivery date is 8 June 2007. Inspection and acceptance is to be performed at destination. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation?Commerical Items, applies to this procurement. The following evaluation factors will be used: (1) Price (2) Past Performance?offerors should identify past or current contracts (including federal, state, local and private) for efforts similar to that required for this procurement. Offerors may also provide information on problems encountered on the identified contracts and the offeror?s corrective actions. (3) Compliance to the Specification. Price is the most important factor. SPECIFICATION: The Nilfisk GM 80CR portable vacuum cleaner, or equivalent, is designed for heavy-duty use in a clean room environment and is specifically deigned to capture fine dust and powder particles. The unit shall incorporate the features described below: Minimum Requirements: Overall Dimensions: Approximately 14? l x 12? w x 16? h Empty Weight: Approximately 11 lbs. Electrical Requirements: 110-120V @ 60 Hz Current Draw: 9 A Power: Approximately 1100 watts Waterlift: 102 inches H2O, maximum Airflow: 87 cfm, maximum Air Performance: 250 air watts Sound Level: 59 dB(A) at 6?6? distance. Tank Capacity: Minimum 3 ? gallons Paper Bag Capacity: Minimum 2 ? gallons Brush: A conductive 3? round brush shall be included. Nozzles: A conductive crevice nozzle and a 12? floor nozzle shall both be included. Filtration System: The unit shall include a four (4) stage filtration system to be comprised of a disposable paper bag, large main filter, microfilter, and ULPA (Ultra Low Penetration Air) exhaust filter. The disposable e bag shall be minimum 2.25-gallon capacity. Total filter area (including paper bag, main filter, microfilter, and ULPA) shall be 10 ? square feet. Trolley: Unit shall include a detachable wheeled trolley measuring approximately 10? l x 15? w x 3? h. Hose: A conductive hose shall be included of 10? length. Wands: Two straight stainless steel wands shall be included. Tool Caddy: The unit shall include a tool caddy for transporting/storing tools. Construction: Aluminum vacuum body Power Cord: A cord minimum 30? in length shall be included. Safety Features: Unit shall include positive twist safety latches to prevent accidental opening. A motor thermal protection device shall act to prevent overheating due to operator failure to replace filters or nozzle/hose blockage. Options: Two Ply Paper Bags: Four (4) packages of Nilfisk p/n 81620000 or equivalent shall be provided, with five bags per package. Container Polyliners: One (1) package of Nilfisk p/n 01719000 or equivalent polyliners shall be provided, with 25 polyliners per package.
