- Description
- This notice is to reinstate Amendment 2 posted 20 March 2007. The solicitation--and all amendments--was inadvertently deleted when a Notice of Award incorrectly linked this solicitation number with contract FA8204-07-M-0042. To correct the Notice of Award was deleted from FEDBIZOPs (22 Apr 07); unfortunately it then deleted solicitation FA8204-07-Q-68072 in its entirety. Therefore Amendment 2 posted 20 March 2007 is provided below. All interested parties are cautioned to read each notice (each amendment) carefully as the procurement approach to this requirement changed from full & open competition to a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. AMENDMENT #2 - Posted 13 March 2007 The following questions have been asked by interested parties: Q1 - What size X-ray cabinet do you prefer? A1 - There are spacial limitations to both the area the equipment will be in and also access through a door to this area. Therefore, the outside dimensions of the cabinet are as stated in paragraph 1.1.2. of Attachment 1. The X-ray equipment must fit and operate in a (43 inch long X 67 inch wide X 74 inch high) area. Q2 ? What size of sample? A2 ? The inside of the cabinet must be able to fit a minimum of six (5.1 inch X 4 inch) circuit cards with an imaging tilt angle from 0 to 75 degrees from vertical. The inside of the cabinet must also be able to fit a (10 inch X 10 inch X 10 inch) object with an imaging tilt angle from 0 to 75 degrees from vertical. Attachment 1 will be updated to include this information. Q3 ? It states that ? it must e able to fit through (6?10??H X45? W) door without facility modifications? Can you please clarify the dimensions. A2 ? As stated above there are access limitations to the area the equipment will be in. Therefore, the equipment must be able to fit through a (6ft 10 inch) high X 45 inch wide doorway without any facility modifications as stated in paragraph 1.1.1. of attachment 1. Q3 ? There is a requirement that it run off of 110 VAC; is there access to 220VAC? A3 ? The room where this equipment will be utilized has power restrictions as listed in paragraph 1.1.13 of Attachment 1; therefore any/all equipment proposed must be able to function under this constraint.
