- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F2FT247087A100 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation is full and open competition, North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 531120, with a small business size standard of $6.5 million; the SIC Code is 6512. DESCRIPTION: Requirement is as follows, large conference room/classroom in ?U? shape configuration to facilitate seminar instruction for up to 40 personnel; two additional classrooms to accommodate breakout sessions of up to 20 personnel each; capability to present classified material in all three rooms; capability to receive (via mail) and store classified material up to the level SECRET; audio/visual equipment capable of presenting both classified and unclassified material in all three room/classrooms; dedicated audio/visual technician; internet access (no fewer than eight terminals) available to course participants; copier support; available break area; dedicated parking area for 45 vehicles. DATES / LOCATION: 21-25 May 2007 - (7:30 AM to 5:00 PM), Washington, D.C. - Located within a 20 minute drive from Pentagon and Crystal City. Invoices are to be filed through Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF). The following clauses apply to this acquisition and are included in full text: FAR 52.212-1-Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items (Jan 2005) applies to this acquisition and is amended to read: All offerors shall provide evidence of facility clearance and clearance of employees (minimum secret) as part of their quote. Failure to provide this evidence may render your quote non-responsive. Evaluation: Technical capability to meet security requirements and price. Technical capability is significantly more important than price. FAR clauses and provisions can be located and viewed via the Internet at: http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The Government reserves the right to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors. The Government will make award to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is the greatest value to the Government. FAR 52.212-2 - Evaluation - Commercial Items. Offers will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.212-1. Technical capability to comply with security requirements is significantly more important than price. Each offeror shall include a completed copy of the provisions at FAR 52.212-3-Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items (Mar 2005), with the quotation.
