- This is the second modification to provide Questions and Answers concerning the Sources Sought Notice, some of the Q&As were not clearly identified. 1. Q. Is there an incumbent working on this requirement or is it a new opportunity/requirement? If there is an incumbent what is the contractors name, contract number, value and period of performance? A. This requirement is new to the Contacting Center of Excellence. The current contract vehicle (N61339-03-D-0300) was issued by NAVAIR Orlando. The contractors name is Alion Science and Technology Corp. The point of contact for this contract is Do mingo Rivera, 407-381-8636. 2. Q. Could you provide the Program Managers name? A. See answer to Question 1. 3. Q. Is this project considered a new requirement? A. See answer to Question 1. 4. Q. If this project is not considered a new requirement; a. Who is the incumbent b. What is the contract number? A. See answer to Question 1. 5. Q. Is this a SB set-aside? If so, what category? A. See Sources Sought notice. It states that if at least two responsible small business concerns are determined by the Government to be capable of performing this requirement based on an evaluation of the capability packages, the requirement will be solicited as a 100% set-aside for small business concerns . The category will be determined as a result of the evaluation. 6. Q. Request a change to the NAICS Code to 541330, Engineering Services pertaining to Military and Aerospace Equipment and Military Weapons, with a small business size standard of $25 M? A. NAICS Code 541990 is the most appropriate code for the requirement.
