- Non-personal Service - The Contractor is responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support (one man year) to the Arnold Air Force Base Tennessee. This position involves performing secretarial services and some information technology related tasks, requiring independent judgment, initiative, and discretion. Responsibilities include but are not limited to greeting visitors, answering phones, distributing mail and correspondence, photocopying, maintaining files, ordering supplies, and issuing correspondence. In compliance with the Service Contract Act of 1965, as amended, the Statement of Equivalent Rates for Federal Hires is Secretary (Office Automation) with a Wage/Fringe Benefit of $15.67 per hour. In accordance with, the Service Contract Act Wage Determination No. 05-2491 Rev (1), General Clerk III, Job Code Classification 01113 Wage/Fringe benefit is $15.95 per hour. The performance period for the initial requirement shall commence on or about 1 June 2007 to 31 May 2008. This solicitation package also includes two 1 year options. The performance period for the 1st year option, if exercised, shall commence on or about 1 June 2008 to 31 May 2009. The performance period for the 2nd year option, if exercised, shall commence on or about 1 June 2009 to 31 May 2010. Both option periods are contingent upon successful performance and the availability of funds. Request for Proposal (RFP) and Performance Statement of Work will be available on or about 30 April 2007. Proposal due date will be on or about 15 May 2007 at 2PM Central Standard Time. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: All personnel provided under this contract must be able to obtain a National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI). Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at http://www.ccr.gov in order to receive an award under this solicitation. Contractors will be required to submit invoices via Wide Area Work Flow, a web based invoice and receiving system. Request for Proposals and Statement of Work will only be available electronically at the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. No hardcopies, faxes, or emails will be available. Please register as a source to be notified of RFP, amendments, clarifications, etc. However it is the responsibility of the contractor (even those registered as a source) to check the FBO website frequently to ensure they have all available information.
