Description
SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 1. Class Code: 66 Instruments and Laboratory equipment 2. NAICS Code: 334515 3. Subject: High Current Battery Test System 4. Solicitation Number: W911QX-07-T-0112 5. Set-Aside: Full and Open Competition 6. Response Date: 11 May 7. Place of Performance: US Army Research Laboratory ATTN: Shipping and Receiving, Bldg. 102 2800 Powder Mill Road Adelphi, MD 20783 -1197 (i) The solicitation number is W911QX-07-T-0112. This acquisition is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (ii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-16, dated March 22, 2007. (iii) The associated NAICS code is 334515 and the SIC code} is 3825. The small business size standard is 500. (iv) The following is a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure: CLIN No. 0001, Battery Test System, MACCOR Series 4000, Qty 1 each. (vi) Description of requirements: The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source to procure Maacor Series 4000 multifunction battery system. This is a battery tester of two channels, MACCOR Series 4000 Automated Test System from MACCOR, Inc, 2805 W 40TH St, Tulsa, OK 74107-5446. The full discharge current is 100A with ? 50mA. The discharge current rage is from 200mA to 100A. The voltage measurement is from 0V to +100V? 20mV. The maximum discharge voltage is +100V and minimum discharge voltage is +3V. Equipment specif ications are detailed in the enclosure. The Series 4000 is a Turn-Key system with all software and hardware included. (vii) Delivery is required 90 days after award of contract although offerors may propose an alternative delivery date, which may be considered. Delivery shall be made to U.S. Army Research Laboratory, ATTN: Shipping and Receiving, 2800 Powder Mill Road, Adelphi, Maryland 20783-1197 and acceptance shall be performed at the same address. The FO B point is Destination. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The following addenda have been attached to this provision: None. (ix) The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items is not applicable to this acquisition. (x) Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications -Commercial Items, with its offer. (xi) The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following addenda have been attached to this clause: NONE.
