Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS), in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) is soliciting for a time and materials, requirements type contract to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Rolls-Royce Naval Marine. The requirement is for all necessary materials, travel, and technical representative services for the repair and/or installation of blades, seals, hubs, and OD boxes on various vessels located at both U.S. Naval Ship Repair Facility Yokosuka, Japan and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Bremerton, WA. Rolls Royce is the OEM for these materials; thus, due to compatibility issues, the required services must be procured from subject contractor. Period of performance will extend from 3 August 2007 to one year thereafter, with the possibility of two, one-year option periods. The noncommercial solicitation will be issued on or about 11 May 2007 with a closing date of 11 June 2007. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Proposed contract to be procured in accordance with FAR Part 15. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
