Description
UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS LEASED OFFICE SPACE EUREKA, CALIFORNIA The United States Government seeks to lease street-level, contiguous (same floor) Office space, or contiguous upper-floor space on one floor which meets GSA lease criteria and has handicapped accessible elevator service to the SSA office floor as an acceptable alternative. The space offered must consist of approximately 11,025 rentable square feet in Eureka, California. The space should yield between 9,587 and 11,025 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet. A minimum of one (1) reserved, off-street parking space is required for use by the Government for employee carpools, employees with disabilities, and in-and-out official business travel. Parking must be paved, striped, graded for proper drainage, lighted, and shall be located on site. Where on site parking is not available, parking for the disabled must be located within the same block Availability of public transportation and parking should be within two blocks of the space offered. The proposed space must be located within the boundaries of the delineated area bounded by Eureka, California City Limits: South: Harris Street, starting at Hubbard Lane and going west to Broadway East: W Street, starting at Second Street and going south to Third Street, then west to West Street, then south to Myrtle Avenue, then south to Hubbard Lane, then south to Harris Street North: Second Street, starting at G Street and going east to W Street West: Broadway, starting at Harris Street and going north to 14th Street, then east to Summer Street, then north to Washington Street, then east to California Street, then north to Sixth Street, then east to A Street, then north to Fifth Street, then east to G Street, then north to Second Street The proposed lease is for fifteen (15) years, ten (10) years firm, and should be fully serviced. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than 10-30-08. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire and Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. Consideration shall be based on the area profile, location, and proposed security precautions if the location would be utilized. An award of contract will not be made for a property located within a base flood plain or wetland unless the Government has determined it to be the only practicable alternative.
