Description

NAICS 238290 - The General Services Administration is soliciting proposals for Elevator Modernization for the Federal Building in Roswell, New Mexico, Solicitation GS-07P-07-UF-C-0019, Project Number RNM03018. The point of contact is Barbara Varley, Contracting Officer, 7PMO, 817-978-7086. The project is to consist of modernizing one (1) existing traction passenger elevator. The contractor must provide new solid state microprocessor controls, drives, machines, and cabs. All work performed under this contract shall meet or exceed the current ASME-A17.1, Elevator Code and the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards. The estimated cost range of the project is $250,000.00 - $400,000. The solicitation issue date will be on or about 3/20/07. The proposal due date will be on or about 4/24/07. A pre-proposal conference will be held on or about 4/3/07, and notification to the Contracting Officer of proposed attendance is requested. We consider attendance at this conference vital to the preparation of a competitive and cost effective proposal and to understanding the total result desired by the Government. Failure to attend this meeting may not be used as an excuse for omissions and miscalculations in offers. Specifications will be available for downloading from the Internet at www.fedbizopps.gov. These documents will be in a PDF format and can be accessed using a WWW browser.
