- USCG, MLCP (vpl-1) in Oakland, CA, proposes to contract for Dockside Repairs, Fire Pump Replacement, of USCGC MIDGETT (WHEC 726), home moorage in Seattle, WA, and USCGC MELLON (WHEC 717), home moorage in Seattle, WA. Both vessels are 378? high endurance cutters. The period of performance for CGC MIDGETT will be 09 July 2007 through 27 July 2007 and CGC MELLON will be accomplished during the period of 20 August 2007 through 07 September 2007. Work may include, but is not limited to the following: Fire Pumps Replacement. On or about 14 May 2007, an Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Only certified 100% small business contractors may submit a bid. Only one award will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder under this solicitation. The solicitation, specifications and other pertinent information will be posted at www.fbo.gov. In order to open and download the specifications offerors must be registered at www.FedTeds.gov. Offerors are encouraged to register immediately as authorization to access the documents may take up to 48 hours from the time of registration. Drawings may be requested through FedTeds.
