Description

Replacing existing generating unit carbon dioxide fire extinguishing system. Performing complete cleaning of new and existing system piping and identification of new generating unit carbon dioxide fire extinguishing systems equipment, piping, and valving. Testing operation of new generating unit carbon dioxide fire extinguishing systems equipment. Furnishing stairwell pressurization and ozone detection system. Furnishing a pallet lift truck. Furnishing, installing and testing a new plant fire detection and alarm system. This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The sealed bids are tentatively due on or around July 10, 2007 (this date may be subject to change), at the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, Room 2015, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana 59101 (Attention: Alma Bergerson, GP-3800). The solicitaiton package is tentatively scheduled to be issued on or around May 31, 2007 (date subject to change). There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation package; additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a non-refundable cashier check or money order in the amount of $9.00 per set. The estimated range of the project is $1 million - $5 million. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 238210, the Product Code is Z234, the Small Business Size Standard is $13.0 million. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The solicitation specifications and drawings will NOT be posted on the Internet. A complete solicitation package is available in hard copy upon written request. To receive a hard-copy of the solicitation, a written request on company letterhead, including contractor's name, mailing address, telephone and fax numbers, Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNS), must be faxed to Hart BlackEagle , FAX No. 406-247-7798. Any dates identified in this announcement may be subject to change at the discretion of the Bureau of Reclamation. Contractors interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and must have an active registration (http://www.ccr.gov). Contractors submitting a bid must complete their Representations and Certifications on Line (Section K of the solicitation).
