- This information is for solicitation SPM1C107Q0367. This is for the purchase of SKIRTS, AF SHADE 1620. The applicable NSN for this procurement is 8410-01-441-4602(s). The military specification is FNS/PD 96-08 Type 1 dated 27 Feb 1997. The pattern date is 31 DEC 96. The purchase quantity is 4050 each. The first delivery order is due 90 days after the date of award. The destination for this item is Travis Association for the Blind, a depot in Austin, TX. The solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside that will result in a firm fixed price contract. All materials used in the fabrication of the end item are to be furnished by the contractor with exception of the basic fabric (Cloth, Poly/Wool Serge, Shade 1620), which will be provided as GFM. This cloth is 60 inches wide and the NSN is 8305-01-376-9471. The Government does not intend to use FAR part 12 for this acquisition. (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014), including the materials and components thereof (other than sensors, electronics, or other items added to, and not normally associated with clothing), must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
