Description

The Information Technology E-Commerce and Commercial Contracting Center-West (ITEC4-W), located at Fort Huachuca, Arizona is providing this pre-solicitation notice of offers for manpower and technical expertise necessary to provide non-personal servi ces to the 58th Signal Battalion for the operation and maintenance (O & M) of the Standardized Tactical Entry Point (STEP) and Teleport facilities located at Fort Buckner and Torii Station, Okinawa, Japan. Contractor personnel will augment the existing Go vernment workforce in providing the following O & M support: maintenance and repair of communications electronic equipment to include localization, isolation, disassembly, interchange, reassembly, alignment, checkout, test, and full restoration of existing and new equipment; preventive and demand maintenance of aforementioned equipment; minor building maintenance and repair; proper documentation of maintenance records and as-built drawings; and all other adjustments or repairs necessary to set-up, activate or restore telecommunication systems to specified standards of operation. This acquisition will be a full and open competition for NAICS code 517910. This acquisition will be totally electronic; therefore, NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE PROVI DED. The contract will consist of a phase-in period, a base one year period of performance with 4-one year option periods. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for 22 May 2007.
