- Nellis AFB will be requesting proposals for the construction of a new 10,000 SF replacement golf course clubhouse located approximately 700 feet southwest of the existing facility in the far southern portion of Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. The new clubhouse is a single story, concrete slab on grade, steel and wood structure. Exterior walls consist of gypsum board, metal studs, batt insulation, integral colored concrete masonry veneer, manufactured stone veneer, EIFS, and anodized aluminum windows and doors. The 3/12 sloped roof is constructed of metal decking and flat integral color concrete tiles. The interior has large volume spaces and the wall system generally consists of metal studs and gypsum board with various high-end finishes. The facility will house a pro shop, locker rooms, lobby, snack bar, tournament function room, bar, kitchen, and various support areas. Site work includes constructing a 200-vehicle parking lot, access drives, cart paths, sidewalks, patio, landscaping, loading dock, and utility work. The project includes the removal of existing parking areas but does not involve the demolition of existing structures. Portions of the parking lot will require phased construction.The Request For Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website, www.fbo.gov, on or about 1 Jun 2007 with a proposal due date on or about 1 Jul 2007. The exact dates will be included in the RFP when posted to FBO. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. This is a non-appropriated fund purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. Non-appropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for the participation in military community programs. The project magnitude is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This requirement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. The resulting contract will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP). Contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in DFARS 252.204-7004 and 252.232-7009 in order to receive award. CCR information can be obtained at http://www.ccr.gov/. Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) must also be completed for award.
