Description

Solicitation 8007-23 provides for one Turbine powered, Single Engine Air Tanker (SEAT), with a payload of at least 475 US gallons of material weighing 9.2 pounds per gallon (4,370 pounds), fully contractor operated and maintained, to provide flight services in support of the US Forest Service fire suppression program at Pendleton, OR. The term of the contract will be one year with options to extend for an additional three option years. The exclusive use period will be July 2, 2007 through September 14, 2007 (75 calendar days), seven days per week. The Contractor will be required to hold a current Federal Aviation Administration Agricultural Aircraft Operations Certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is May 1, 2007. The solicitation will be available at this site and http://amd.nbc.gov. Set Aside for Small Business.
