- This is a Request for Quote for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is an education activity and qualifies for academic/educational pricing. DESCRIPTION: DoDEA requires Cosmetology grades 9-12 instructional materials that correlate with DODEA content standards in Cosmetology. Solicitation Number HE1254-07-T-0018, is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The following clauses/provisions apply to this solicitation and are in effect through FAC 2005-16, Effective 22 Mar 2005, Class Deviation 2005-o0001 and DCN 20070327: FAR 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference; FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer; FAR 52.243-1, Changes-Fixed-Price; and FAR 52.249-4, Termination for Convenience of the Government. The following DFAR provisions are hereby incorporated by reference: DFARS 252.243-7001, Pricing of Contract Modifications; 252.204-7004, Alternative A. The following items shall be submitted in writing, to the address shown above, by 1:00 p.m. EST, Tuesday, 15 May 07: 1) Price, 2) TIN number, 3) DUNS Number, 4) CAGE code, 5) Proposal 6) Material and 7) Past Performance References. Contractors must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive an award with the DOD. All questions must be submitted in writing via fax to (703) 588-3713, Attn: Norma Gordon. OFFERORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DOWNLOADING THE SOLICITATION, ALL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS, AND ANY APPLICABLE AMENDMENTS posted on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOps) at http://www.fbo.gov/index.html. Amendments may be posted to FedBizOps up until the response due date. Quotes received after the due date and time will not be considered for award with DOD.
