- Description
- This procurement is set aside for Small Business Concerns Only. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order. The purchase order will cover Deck Preservation onboard the NOAA Ship THOMAS JEFFERSON at its homeport of Norfolk, VA. Provide all labor; material and equipment necessary to perform the statement of work. The work shall be accomplished July 7 - 22, 2007. The vessel is available for inspection from May 14-16, 2006 at its homeport. Contact Neil Lamartin at 757-441-6369 to make arrangements. This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business set-aside in accordance with FAR 52.219-6. The NAIC code is 333618 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. The acquisition will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 12, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The RFQ will be issued via electronic posting at Federal Business Opportunity (FEDBIZOPPS) web page www.eps.gov on or about May 10, 2007 with a receipt date of May 30, 2007 and an award date of June 5, 2007. Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor FEDBIZOPPS for the release of the RFQ, specification, drawings and all subsequent amendments. The specification will be uploaded via www.eps.gov with the RFQ. Quoters must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov and obtain (and provide with the offer) a DUNs number.
