Description
The United States Government is conducting a competition for 2,611 rentable square feet of office and related space and will relocate if a consideration of the economics involved and other factors are supportive. The ANSI/BOMA Office Area Square Footage must yield a minimum of 2,270 square feet of contiguous office and related space with five (5) reserved secured parking spaces in the City of San Diego for use by the Social Security Administration for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. The cost of relocation including the replacement of furniture, telecommunications, tenant improvements, and above standard alterations as well as agency mission and other factors will be considered. The space offered must be in an office building and section of the city that is professional and prestigious in appearance, well-maintained and of modern design and/or tastefully rehabilitated to modern use, with regularly scheduled public transportation and available visitor parking within two blocks. The space must meet or be capable of being altered to meet the Government?s requirements for Fire and Safety, Handicapped Accessibility and Seismic Safety, and not located in a flood plain. LEASE TERM: 10 years/5 years firm, and should be fully serviced. OCCUPANCY: Space must be ready for occupancy no later than June 30, 2008.
