Description

PRESOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT-URGENT CARE CENTER The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (LSCDVAMC), 10701 East Boulevard, Cleveland, Ohio, 44106 anticipates soliciting sources and consequently awarding a contract for the construction project known as "Urgent Care Renovations." The solicitation will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 14 (SEALED BIDDING), 19, and 36 and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures therein. The solicitation will be 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, supplies, and travel, to perform work under this project. The work will include construction services to perform renovation of the urgent care suite at the Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The location of the work will be at the above stated address. The period of performance shall be 210 days. Magnitude of construction is expected to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. NAICS Code: 236220 ($31,000,000) The solicitation documents will be issued on or about Monday, May 14, 2007. At such time, information will be provided regarding the obtaining of plans and specifications. A Site Visit is planned for Wednesday June 6, 2007 at 10 am. Interested parties will meet in the Engineering Department-Room E33 (Located in the basement area.) Only one site visit is planned. Bids will be due on or about Noon, June 14, 2007. This notice is not a request for submission of offers.
