- This solicitation notice is CANCELLED. A request for quote FY2333-07-Q-0029 is to be posted in approximately 7 days or less for the High Value Resistance STDs. This RFQ will only be open for quotes for approximately 15 days. To receive notice of when it is posted contact Bruce.Thompson@afmetcal.af.mil AFMETCAL Det 1 intends to award a commercial firm fixed price Requirements type contract with one basic year and with four option years. The requirement is for the purchase of High Value Resistance Standards. The proposed item must meet the requirements of AFMETCAL Purchase Description (PD) 07E-111A-DC, dated 30 June 2006. There is no guarantee that any order will be issued, however our best estimated quantity is 78 sets with an estimated FY07 quantity of 29 sets and the remaining quantity to be procured in the following option years. Each set consisting of four resistance standards: 1Gohm, 10Gohm, 100Gohm, and 1000Gohm (1Tohm), in which 1Gohm equals 1,000,000,000 Ohms. Contingent upon the availability of funds some of the anticipated quantity may be ordered in FY10 and FY11 or may not be ordered at all. Offerors will be required to provide pricing based on quantity ranges of 1-78. Offerors may propose quantity ranges where price breaks are available. Data including operation, maintenance (requires an Illustrated parts break down), calibration manuals and a 5-yr extended warranty is required with each unit. These units will be direct shipped to our PMELs. Delivery shall be FOB destination. The RFP with PD and all pertinent information, including instructions for submission of a technical proposals and technical manuals will be released on or about 22 Feb 2007 for completion and return by offerors no later than 23 Mar 2007. The solicitation package including purchase description, warranty description and data requirements will be available for viewing and downloading at the Fedbizopps site. A modification to this announcement will be issued when the documents are posted. FAX and email responses are acceptable.
