Small Business Set-Aside: Total Small Business
Description: Invitation for Bid, Sealed Bid, will be issued as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. This highly skilled effort is to replace the existing obsolete Fire Alarm System with a new addessable type Fire Alarm System to include a Radio Reporting System , and the installation of Carbon Monxide Detectors in accordance with Government drawings, and specifications for B365, Guest House Lodging, at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown, New Jersey. This effort requires highly skilled techicians certified by Notifier or Fi re-Lite Inc. to perform the installation, testing and verification of the entire fire alerm system and its componenets. When entire system is installed it has to be Certified that the entire system installed works. Request for copies of Government drawings and specifications are available and should be addressed to Mr.Art Greenspan, via e-mail, his e-mail address is Arthur.Greenspan@mail1.monmouth.army.mil. When requesting the DRWGS/SPECS please include your companies name, address, FED EX NUMBER,and TEL # with your e-mail request to Mr. Art Greenspan. Please be advised that REPS and CERTS within the Solcitation and the Bid Offer Guarantee will be required at the time of Bid Opening on 22 June 2007, at 1:30 PM EST. The magnitude for this efort is $100,000 to $250,000 IAW FAR 36.204. Contract Award IS SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. The period of performance for this effort is 90 days. Liquadated Damages will be assessed at $150.00 per day for any unauthorized schedule overruns. The contractor will be re quired to provide a construction performance schedule (MS PROJECT FORMAT) and a Schedule of Values for Progress Payments prior to the start of this effort.
