Description

The purpose of this request is to amend the market survey cited above to respond to questions raised by prospecive responders. For the basic information please refer to notice 44CA6 issued 19 April 2007. 1. The ue date of the market survey is changed to close of business 10 May 2007. 2. The current Navy solution is a prototype system and is extremely fragile. Navy is looking for a COTS solution that can provide required functionality as described, to replace the existing sysem. 3. The Navy is requesting a Rough Order of Magnatude cost to implement the Websteam functionality described. It should include both software licensing cost and the cost for implementation services. 4. The proposed solution will be hosted in the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) data center. Responders should include specific recommended hardware and operating environmnet requirements they feel are sufficient to meet the performance reequirements. 5. The Navy is not specifying a development/operating environment or database format. 6. Total users 5,000. Estimated concurrent users 2,500. In the event the attachment describing the WebSTEAM is no longer available it is being attached to this document.
