Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Richard A. McCormack, 4112 Sleepy Hollow Rd, Annandale, VA 22003-2042, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), soliciting from a single source. The purpose is to renew the site license subscription for Manufacturing & Technology News. This will enable full electronic (PDF) and print distribution to all NIST employees of the Manufacturing Extension Partnership in Gaithersburg, MD and all affiliated centers throughout the country. Centers are granted permission to distribute Manufacturing & Technology News to all their employees; they are provided access to all archives of the publication on the http://www.manufacturing news.com web site; and they are granted permission to republish individual stories in their internal and external newsletters for distribution to clients. A purchase order will be issued on or about May 10, 2007. The performance period will begin 07/01/07 for one year with six option years. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, in writing, no later than the response date. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
