- The 96th Contracting Squadron, 96 CONS/MSCBB at Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed Price, Sole Source contract to Ordnance Systems, Inc., for HMX explosive powder. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The announcement number is F1TBAS7115A001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 325920, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. CLIN 0001: HMX; grade B, class 5 NSN: 1376-00-865-4435 Final inspection and acceptance will be at Eglin AFB, FL 32542. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement or submit proposals. The quote format is at the discretion of the offeror. If your company is capable of providing this item, pricing and product literature must be received no later than 1:00 P.M., Central Standard Time on 9 May 2007.
